FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Plain answers about what Enigma Genetics is, what it isn’t, and how 0mnimind and GeneVault work.
What is Enigma Genetics?
Enigma Genetics LLC is an early-stage company building consent-governed infrastructure for personal genomic and health data. The platform consists of GeneVault (a user-controlled data vault), 0mnimind (an AI health companion, pronounced “OmniMind”), and a consent-governed access system.
Is Enigma Genetics affiliated with the ENIGMA Consortium or Enigma Genomics?
No. Enigma Genetics LLC is independent and is not affiliated with the ENIGMA Consortium (a brain-imaging research collaboration), Enigma Genomics, or any similarly named organizations.
How is “0mnimind” pronounced?
It is pronounced “OmniMind.” The product name is spelled with a leading zero: 0mnimind.
Is 0mnimind a medical device?
No. 0mnimind is an educational and organizational tool. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace medical care, and it is not a regulated medical device. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional for medical decisions.
Can Enigma Genetics read my data?
GeneVault is being designed so that the keys needed to decrypt user-controlled biological data are held on user-controlled hardware, not by Enigma Genetics. Specific cryptographic primitives and key-management approaches are part of the platform’s security roadmap and may evolve over time. See Security.
Is Enigma Genetics HIPAA, GDPR, or SOC 2 compliant?
Compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC 2 is part of Enigma Genetics’ compliance roadmap. Enigma Genetics has not stated that it currently holds these certifications, and any specific certifications depend on independent assessment and auditing.
Does Enigma Genetics sell my data?
No. Enigma Genetics does not sell user genetic or health data. Any access to user data is gated by explicit, revocable user consent, scoped in time and purpose.
What can I do today?
